Cancellation Policy

The safety of all people, pets, and livestock are of utmost importance to us. However, to take part in any activities held on our farm we require a release of liability and agreement to follow the conditions. I will keep my dog(s) under direct control at all times (eg. on a leash). I declare that I am the legal owner of the dog attending and that my dog is in good health, (being current on distemper, parvo and parainfluenza immunizations/ or with titer test). I am participating in this activity at my own risk and have disclosed any physical or mental health concerns that may influence mine/my dog's participation. I understand that sessions are held outdoors, and that this exposes me and my dog to natural elements (I am responsible for dressing/preparing accordingly). I understand that participating in Herding can be unpredictable, and exposes dogs and people to injury for which the participant is solely responsible for. Woolly Meadows/Bethany Harris (including our volunteers and property) is released from any and all liability if I or my dog(s) suffer personal injury, and/or my property suffers physical damage. I will take no legal action against any of the above persons or establishments upon injury to myself, a family member, my dog, or damage to my property. I am solely responsible for any personal injury and/or property damage incurred by others, and caused by me or my dog, including injury or death to livestock. The replacement cost of any livestock used will be: Sheep $800.00 ea. Goats $300 ea Ducks $40 ea I will promptly reimburse any party that sustains personal injury and/or property damage caused by me or my dog. In addition, I will indemnify and hold harmless Woolly Meadows/Bethany Harris (including volunteers) from any cause of action brought by others against them caused by the actions of me or my dog.  24hr notice is required to receive a full refund if you cannot come. Your safety and that of the livestock matters - in case of extreme weather (above 30'C, below -15'C, strong wind, heavy rain etc.) you have the opportunity to reschedule, and I will gladly accommodate this.
